Microwave Remote Sensing Center

The Centro di Telerilevamento a Microonde

is a non-profit organization created in 1987 to promote

and support events that help to develop the knowledge about Microwave Remote-Sensing on the territory.

CeTem main purposes are:

 promoting and developing study, research and experimental activity in the field of microwave sensors, electomagnetic modelling and signals analysis;

 promoting research programmes, aiming to study and verify possible theoretical and applicative chances of microwave remote-sensing in protecting the enviroment and managing the territory and natural resources;

 sponsoring and organizing mettings, conferences and conventions on a local, national and international scale; 

 improving and boosting the cultural and professional know-how of its members; 

 funding prizes and scholarships; 

 carrying out counselling activity for public and private authorities;
