IEEE GRSS Award

Durante l’IGARS 2024 che si è tenuto ad Atene dal 7 al 12 luglio, la Dott.ssa Simonetta Paloscia ha ricevuto il premio IEEE GRSS Fawwaz Ulaby Distinguished Achievement Award con la seguente motivazione: “for outstanding contributions to active and passive microwave remote sensing of land processes”. E’ la prima donna ad essere premiata in 40 anni (il premio è stato istituito nel 1984).
